Simon Trask and his Humanity Now organization march on San Francisco to protest the freedom mutants have to breed and multiply. Trask goads some of the young mutants into attacking his people and all hell breaks loose. Cyclops tries to quell the unrest but things continue to get out of control as mutants and humans clash. Norman Osborn sends the Dark Avengers to put the mutants down. Norman meets with Emma and shows her his new vision for the X-Men. Norman tries to have Cyclops arrested as the mutant ringleader but Scott runs, just as Xavier shows up and denounces all of his former students.
