With the law closing in and his reputation in ruins, the hero is captured by the Jester, who sets a trap that puts his life on the line. Written by Stan Lee and illustrated with moody precision by Gene Colan, with inks by Dan Adkins and Jim Steranko, and lettered by Artie Simek, this 1968 issue features a cover by Gene Colan and Jim Steranko that captures the tension perfectly.
