In "Nessuno Ride di Jester!", the Jester returns with a twisted agenda, hired by the cunning Raleigh to eliminate the rising star candidate for D.A.—Foggy Nelson. When the new Daredevil steps in to stop the assassination, they find themselves locked in a deadly game of cat and mouse with the newest crown prince of crime.

In "Io, l'Assassino!", Daredevil finds himself framed for murder when the Jester manipulates events to make it appear as though he killed Jonathan Powers, the crime clown whose secret identity was exposed by Hornhead. With the law closing in and his reputation in ruins, Daredevil is captured by the Jester, who now holds him at the mercy of the authorities.
