Conan #12/2001
Conan and Fafnir the Vanir find themselves stranded on the forgotten island of Bal-Sagoth, where ancient ruins and buried power await. Forced to set aside their differences, they team up to survive the island’s dangers, only to be drawn into a deadly struggle when they rescue a girl named Kyrie and must confront the high priest Gothan to restore her as the lost goddess and queen Aala.
In the cursed island city of Bal-Sagoth, Conan and Fafnir battle demonic forces beneath ancient temples, only to find themselves fleeing as the volcano erupts in a fiery cataclysm. As the city collapses into the sea, they are swept away—only to be rescued by the enigmatic Yezdigerd, who pulls them from the raging waters.
In "Slavebundet," young Kull the Atlantean flees after a fateful act of mercy, swimming away from the flames meant for his childhood friend. Captured by a Lemurian pirate ship, he is dragged into a brutal life of slavery, where survival means enduring the merciless sea and the iron grip of his captors.
