In "Hämndens ängel!", the legend of the X-Men's founding takes a mysterious turn as Professor X learns of a winged figure known as the Angel of Vengeance, a being said to strike down those who defy justice. Drawn by the promise of purpose, he reaches out to this enigmatic figure, offering a place among the X-Men.
