The Dragon of Solvanthia awakes after the Sword of Graven is stolen. Conan finds the Sword and Valen Triafer and the villagers of Solvanthia trick him into being a sacrifice for the Dragon. Valen changes his mind about betraying Conan and jumps into a pit after him, bringing the Sword of Graven to him. The Dragon confronts them.
