Conan the Barbarian #50 (1984) features the iconic warrior in "El laberinto, el hombre y el monstruo," with art by John Buscema and inks by Ernie Chan, capturing Conan's clash with a monstrous foe in a labyrinthine setting. The issue was written by Bruce Jones and Luisa Parra, with coloring by George Roussos and lettering by Agustín Zorzo. The cover, also by John Buscema, depicts Conan in a dramatic, action-packed scene.
In "El laberinto, el hombre y el monstruo," Conan teams up with Jo to track down her missing sisters—Rhula, Bethene, and Lola—after they’re sold into slavery. When their trail leads to the cunning Forbos, Conan devises a trap, tricking him into "buying" Theta, only to uncover a horrifying truth: Forbos is a half-man, half-bull whose twisted harem is fed to a monstrous entity known as the Devourer of Women.
In "¡La vida entre los muertos!", Conan races against time when the ancient Dragon of Solvanthia stirs after the theft of the Sword of Graven. Trapped in a village where fear has turned neighbor against neighbor, he must survive a deadly game of deception, where even those who claim to help may be his undoing. As the Dragon’s shadow falls across the land, Conan and Valen Triafer find themselves at the edge of a pit—where the past and the present collide, and survival demands more than strength.
