Face, Atkins, Balberith, Abigor and Pinhead are on trial in hell, with Face, Atkins and Pinhead judged to have failed in their respective tasks by Praetor Abatur. Griot shows faith in Pinhead, and is judged a traitor by the rest of the Cenobites and set upon. Pinhead arrives and takes control of the courtroom, expels the Praetor, and explains why it only seems like he failed, when in fact he was planning for the long-term.
