The Punisher kills Stilt-Man and then starts searching for the bad guy who is supplying new tech to supervillains. Bridge is tapped by Sitwell to bring in the Punisher and ends up resigning his position in SHIELD so he can do things outside of the law. Punisher rescues Spider-Man from Jester and Jack O'Lantern which brings him into contact with Captain America and the hero resistance in the Civil War.
