After Deadman cures him from within, Prof wakes up and reveals that Dr. Alec Holland who helped save him is Swamp Thing and needs help. Deadman finds Swamp Thing but can't enter him as he's already possessed. Deadman returns to possess Ace and announces that Swamp Thing is in Philadelphia, where he is under the control of and releasing Duncan Pramble, the former Multi-Man. Deadman jumps between the two, causing a psychic explosion freeing Swamp Thing and blowing Pramble's mind. Later back at the mountain, the Challs welcome Swamp Thing to make his home with them.
