In the isolated confines of Challenger Mountain, Clayburne, the aspiring Challenger, turns to the base's computer for answers after Professor's mysterious illness takes a dangerous turn. The system points to Dr. Alec Holland as the only expert capable of understanding the strange biochemical anomalies at play—offering a fragile lead in a crisis with no clear path forward.

In "Chapter 4: All Monsters, Good and Evil," the Challengers of the Unknown face a growing threat as plant life turns hostile, forcing Clayborne and Holland to seek help from Prof, who proposes using sonics to fight back. While Ace races to retrieve jet fuel outside London, Rocky attempts a ritual to summon aid from M’Nagala’s kin, and back in Pennsylvania, Holland struggles with his transformation as his formula’s effects fade—just as Clayborne and Prof activate the emergency siren, turning cultists to slime. In a final push, Ace destroys the monstrous entity by hurling the fuel pod into it, sealing the portal, and the team reunites in Perdition.
