Catwoman #28
In "Miss Calculating," Catwoman finds herself locked in a tense game of cat and mouse with Zeiss, who’s playing a far more dangerous game than she anticipated. With the Penguin as an uneasy ally and Slam a potential target, Selina maneuvers through Gotham’s rooftops and subway tunnels, trying to outthink an enemy who’s already proven he won’t hesitate to hurt innocents. Written by Ed Brubaker and brought to life with sharp, dynamic art by Paul Gulacy—inked by Jimmy Palmiotti and colored by Laurie Kronenberg—this issue delivers a gripping, high-stakes standoff that keeps every move unpredictable. The cover, by Gulacy and Palmiotti, captures the moment’s intensity with striking precision.

Outside of Penguin's apartment, two Beti-Ma soldiers watch the Penguin and Selina. Selina pushes the Penguin for information on Zeiss. Selina watches Slam leave the hospital from the rooftops. She wants to use him as bait hoping Zeiss will come after him again. She spots Zeiss waiting for Slam at the subway, but Zeiss grabs Dex and keeps her at bay. He shoots several civilians on the train platform to show her she how little control she has over the fight. He throws Dex aside and jumps on a train leaving the two of them behind.
