Catwoman #26

Feb 2004 · DC · 2.50 USD; 3.85 CAD
“A Knife in the Dark”

In "A Knife in the Dark," Ed Brubaker and Paul Gulacy deliver a taut, grounded thriller as Catwoman races to rescue an East End girl kidnapped by a rogue band of ex-Joker henchmen. With tension ratcheting up in a shadowed cemetery, Selina’s mission turns personal when she confronts the criminals—only to find herself shadowed by a silent observer, Zeiss, who watches her every move. The issue’s sharp pacing and moody art by Gulacy and Palmiotti, with Kronenberg’s subtle colors and Robins’ precise lettering, make this a standout in the series.
