In "Submission," the Red Skull maneuvers into the Acts of Vengeance scheme, recruiting Crossbones and the Controller, who soon takes control of Namor with a disc implanted on his neck. When Captain America returns to Avengers headquarters only to find it submerged, he’s forced into a tense confrontation with the now-controlled Namor—just as the Sub-Mariner’s fragile grip on his own mind begins to slip.

In "Hyde-- and Seek!", Cobra takes it upon himself to prove his worth as leader of the Serpent Society by hunting down the escaped Mr. Hyde, a dangerous former partner whose return threatens to unravel their fragile order.
