Fer-de-Lance
Fer-de-Lance is a Marvel Comics villain who first emerged as one of the Serpent Society's newer recruits in 1988, bringing her combat skills and snake-themed identity to the deadly mercenary guild. Her true name and early background remain unrevealed.
Few villains slither into Marvel history with quite the panache of Fer-de-Lance, who made her venomous debut in Captain America #337 in 1988 β a Copper Age arrival courtesy of the legendary Mark Gruenwald and Tom Morgan. A proud member of the Serpent Society, she's embedded in one of Marvel's most delightfully reptilian rogues' galleries, sharing pages with fellow scaled troublemakers like Puff Adder and Rock Python. Her appearances stretch across more than three decades and some of Marvel's marquee titles β Captain America, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Avengers β making her a persistent, collector-worthy presence in the serpentine corners of the universe, with at least one key issue to her name for those building a serious run.
