Part of Marvel's 2024 "Fall of the House of X" event, this second issue puts Cable front and center in a tense, close-quarters confrontation with a larger, grinning opponent who has a massive gun pressed to Cable's head — while Cable's techno-organic eye blazes with energy and crackling blue power surges between them. Crumbling statuary and a fiery red atmosphere frame the standoff, giving the whole image a sense of desperate, high-stakes struggle.
