In "Dead Zone," Mera confronts Aquaman with a secret that fractures their bond: she was sent to this dimension to kill him, yet chose love instead. The revelation deepens when she admits Siren is her sister, setting the stage for a tension that lingers between duty, loyalty, and desire.
