Part three of "I Am Bane" arrives with a cover that makes its threat unmistakably clear: a massively built Bane, his mask's lenses burning red, looms over a field of fallen figures — including what appear to be costumed heroes crushed beneath and around him amid the rubble of a devastated Gotham street. David Finch and Danny Miki render the villain with raw, hulking intensity, every vein and seam in his suit conveying barely contained power. Tom King's 2017 Rebirth run continues to push Batman into some of his darkest corners, and this issue promises no shortage of that pressure.
