Veronica catches her new dress in the door and tears it while leaving on a formal date with Archie. She finds herself locked out and decides to go to the mall to buy a new dress. While Archie is waiting on Veronica to try on a pile of dresses, Betty happens by and the two go to a movie together. Veronica finally decides on a new dress and goes to the dance with Archie.
