Archie #595
In "Home Insecurity," Archie #595 delivers a lighthearted, character-driven moment as Reggie muses on why every woman seems to rush to help Archie when he's down—wondering if it's some kind of instinct. When he tries to replicate the effect, the results are anything but predictable. Written by Craig Boldman and brought to life with classic flair by Stan Goldberg (pencils), Bob Smith (inks), Barry Grossman (colors), and Jack Morelli (letters), this 2009 issue captures the humor and heart of Riverdale with a touch of self-awareness. The cover, also by Goldberg and Smith, perfectly captures the playful tone.
