☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeIn "Funhouse Frolic," Moose feels neglected by Midge, so Archie steps in to play secret admirer—only to find himself tangled in a misunderstanding that spirals when Midge decides she wants to date Archie instead. The chaos unfolds in classic Archie style, with heart, humor, and a hospital visit that’s more slapstick than serious. Written by Frank Doyle and brought to life with classic charm by artist Harry Lucey and inks by Terry Szenics, this 2015 Double Digest gem features a cover by Dan Parent and Rich Koslowski.
In "Archie is History Part One," Archie and the gang trade Riverdale for the nation’s capital, trading soda shops for period costumes as they spend a week at the Festival of Living History in Washington D.C., where they’ll bring the past to life as reenactors.
In "Puppy Love," Moose grows suspicious that Midge’s affection has cooled, so Archie steps in to stir things up by pretending to be a secret admirer. Midge, convinced Archie’s interest is a ploy to win her for himself, decides to pursue him—leading to a kiss that shocks Moose and sends Archie to the hospital.
When Archie accidentally unleashes a catchy, mind-bending chant—“Dolly on the trolley found a seat by golly”—he soon learns it’s impossible to shake once it’s stuck in your head. Now, with the entire town caught in a bizarre chain of earworms, he’s on a mission to pass it on before it drives everyone mad.
In "Oh, What a Knight," Archie and the gang dive into the whimsy of a Renaissance fair, decked out in full period regalia. When Archie is mistaken for a costumed performer, he’s suddenly thrust into a joust—only to face off against a mechanical dragon.
