Reggie's Wise Guy Jokes #54
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeReggie Mantle's self-promotion reaches glorious new heights in this 1980 installment of his long-running humor series. The cover — penciled by Stan Goldberg and inked by Jon D'Agostino — tells the whole joke in two perfectly timed panels: first Reggie assures Archie and Betty he's decided to stop bragging, then reveals he's simply erected a marquee sign reading "Home of the Fabulous Reggie" to do the boasting for him. It's the kind of cheerfully shameless gag that makes this series such a treat, and at fifty cents it packed a lot of laughs for your money in 1980.
