Archie's Double Digest Magazine #25
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA cozy living room TV night goes hilariously sideways on Dan DeCarlo's cover for this 256-page digest, as Betty and Archie lounge on the sofa while Jughead sprawls on the floor — all three suffering through what the speech bubbles declare a sitcom so bad "even the laugh track isn't laughing." Issue #25 of Archie's Double Digest Magazine packs a mountain of Riverdale fun into one slim volume, with Sy Reit and Bob White's "Report Rapport" among the stories waiting inside. For fans of the gang's everyday misadventures, this 1986 digest is a thoroughly satisfying read.

In the final chapter of this adventurous story, Archie and the gang climb back into the earth ship, as another rock person runs onto the scene saying that the lab has just received a shipment of amnesia gas, a harmless gas that will make Archie and friends forget all about the rock people. The ship then burrows back out of the earth. Several hours later, they arrive at the entrance to the mine shaft and start heading for home. Reggie mentions that he doesn't like spelunking. Betty agrees. Archie says it's too boring. Jughead says that they were away all day and nothing exciting happened.
