Beamount says to give the aromatherapy time and it will wear off naturally. So, at the dance, Professor Flutesnoot breaks Wendy out of the spell by complimenting her. Archie then briefly shorts the lights at the dance, and when they come back on, the potion's effects have worn off. Everyone is back to normal, except Reggie and Ethel, who find they really like each other.
