Archie Comics #90
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis January/February 1958 issue of Archie delivers the kind of wholesome comic mischief the series does best, with a cover by Harry Lucey that lays out the chaos in charming comic-strip panels. We see Betty cheerfully offering Archie a lock of her hair while hearts float in the air, only for the punchline to land with a thud — Archie reveals he and Veronica are headed to a "Gay Nineties" masquerade party and he needs a mustache, leaving a horrified Betty reaching for her scissors. Written by Frank Doyle, this one has all the ingredients of a great Archie romp: romantic misunderstandings, a put-upon Betty, and Archie blundering straight into trouble with a grin on his face.
