Mera returns to Xebel to get help against the Dead King, but Nereus is upset she did not complete the mission she left Xebel to accomplish, which was to kill Aquaman. Meanwhile, Aquaman attempts to track down Scavenger, but Scavenger eludes him. Learning of the attack of the Dead King against Mera, Aquaman sets out to find Mera. Murk, Tula, and Swatt proceed with their mission to free Orm from prison. Scavenger succeeds in finding Atlantis.
