Dr. Fate 'dies' from his injuries as Zanadu begins his ultimate plan for Earth-2. However, 'fate' steps in and the good Dr. is revived to vanquish Zanadu once more, re-encasing him in his amber prison once more. The Injustice Society also reemerges as Fiddler is controlling Wildcat, as the rest of the JSA/Squad faces Solomon Grundy.
