In "The Man Who Conquered the Solar System! [Part I]," the JSA is stunned by news of Texas oilman John Morrison’s UFO sighting—creatures, a landing, and no evidence to prove it. When local authorities dismiss the tale, the heroes recall the reclusive Professor Napier, whose abandoned lab holds a wire recording revealing a secret rocket project aimed at Jupiter. With the Professor gone, the JSA takes up his mission, completing the ship and launching into the unknown.
In "The Man Who Conquered the Solar System! Part II," the Justice Society races to Jovalus after a lightning-fast trip to Jupiter, where they rescue Miko from the Green Star people. In "The Man Who Conquered the Solar System! Part III," Hawkman and Wonder Woman press on after defeating the Green Heads, racing to Mars with the Flash’s warning that the Conqueror has fled to the red planet. Once landed, they face monstrous ape men before Green Lantern ventures into the enemy’s stronghold, where he’s offered power and loyalty—only to find his own double among the Conqueror’s brainwashed followers.
In "The Man Who Conquered the Solar System! Part IV," Bakeelu holds Earth hostage with a disintegrator ray, awaiting orders from the Conqueror, as the helmeted JSA members are sent to eliminate GL. When the Green Gladiator uses his ring to shatter their mind control, the team races to stop the deadly weapon—only for the ray to fire, obliterating the Green Star instead. With Bakeelu captured and Miko returning him to Jupiter, the JSA and Napier make their way back to Earth in the rocketship.
