In "The Man Who Hated Science! [Part I]," the Alchemist unleashes his latest scheme at a top-spinning contest, sparking a clash with Wonder Woman and Black Canary as he races to claim the fabled Top of Perpetual Motion. Meanwhile, back in court, Zodiac’s tale of a scientist’s accidental discovery of the Elixir of Youth unfolds, interrupted once more by a group of young heroes claiming to be the JSA—only to be dismissed. John Broome’s script and Arthur F. Peddy’s art bring the mystery to life, with Irwin Hasen’s cover capturing the chaos in bold, dynamic lines.
