When the JSA confronts the golden figures at the exhibit, they’re outmatched, and after the Gold Men vanish aboard the spinning Caterpillar ride, the heroes are left with more questions than answers.
In "The Secret of the Golden Universe! Part II," the Justice Society of America is swept into a shimmering dimension of gold after boarding a mysterious ride, where they confront a scientist warning of a dire threat: the Men of Gold, led by the arrogant Aurikon, have stolen iron from Gotham to power colossal robots and shatter a millennium of peace. As Hawkman, Dr. Mid-Nite, and Atom face a reawakened robot in a bay, and Black Canary and Wonder Woman battle the Gold Men at Xenca’s National Museum, the heroes are captured—just as the true scale of the invasion begins to unfold.
In "The Secret of the Golden Universe! Part III," GL and the Flash face off against another Golden Robot at Myrla's estate, only to be trapped by steam from a lake of molten gold. With Myrla captured and the JSA imprisoned in glass cases, Raymond must escape his own inescapable trap to free them—before the Gold Men and Aurikon complete their scheme.
