Upon visiting a merchant friend Pietro Yolanda ..who lives on the Adriatic coast .. the black pirate finds the merchant has been put out of business by a slanderous competitor Carlo Rinaldo. The black pirate confronts Carlo and also the townsfolk to correct the injustice that was done to Pietro. After an attempt by Carlo Rinaldo to silence the black pirate .. justice prevails and Pietro Yolanda has his business and reputation restored.
