At Mammoth Studios in Hollywood, a series of accidents are occurring on the movie set that causes the frightened actor extras to walk off the set. While Dr. McNider and Myra are visiting the studio on a tour, the part of acting extra is offered to Dr. McNidrer, who subsequently solves the case, while in ihis alter ego role as Dr. Mid-Nite. While breaking up the crime ring .. the movie cameras continue to roll, and the film is released as “Dr. Mid-Nite in THEIVES FALL OUT”.
