Though the Sandman dismisses dreams as mere fantasy, the eerie coincidence of Philo’s vision sends a shiver through the group. Written by Joe Samachson and illustrated by Pen Shumaker, with a striking cover by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon, this 1945 Adventure Comics issue blends mystery and suspense in a tale where the line between dream and destiny feels dangerously thin.

High-Hat Archie overhears Philo relating a dream of his to Wes and Sandy, a dream in which Archie and his gang steal the cash from Jones's estate, escape, and then are tracked down by the Sandman and Sandy. Although the Sandman doesn't believe in dreams as prophesying the future, this one comes pretty close.
