Ulf Granberg

Ulf Granberg was a Swedish comics writer and editor, best known for his decades-long stewardship of *Fantomen*, the Swedish comic book dedicated to the Phantom. He was born Ulf Leo Granberg on 9 May 1945 and passed away on 9 January 2026. Granberg entered the comics field as an editor and publisher, overseeing not only *Fantomen* but also a wide range of other comic titles. His writing career for our catalog spans from 1975 to 2023, with credits on 77 issues, most heavily concentrated on *Fantomen*, *Fantomet*, *Phantom*, and related series, as well as the humor strip *Herman Hedning*.
