Michele Robinson, who also worked under the names Michele Wrightson and Michele Brand, was an American comics artist and colorist born in 1941 and died in 2015. She began her career in the underground comix scene of the late 1960s as a cartoonist, contributing to the landmark first all-female underground comic, *It Ain't Me, Babe*, and its successor, *Wimmen's Comix*. Robinson later transitioned into mainstream comics, where she became best known for her work as a colorist. Over a career spanning from 1969 to 2017, she colored 48 issues for major publishers, with her most-credited titles including *Daredevil*, *Strange*, *The Incredible Hulk*, *Captain Marvel*, and *Classic X-Men*. Her palette brought a distinctive vibrancy to the superhero adventures of the 1970s and 1980s, often collaborating with top artists of the era. While not as widely celebrated as some of her peers, Robinson's steady, professional coloring helped define the look of Marvel's Bronze Age output. Her legacy lies in her dual contributions: as a pioneer in women's underground comics and as a skilled colorist who shaped the visual identity of many classic superhero series.
