Zok

Zok is the loyal flying dragon companion of Zandor and Tara in Hanna-Barbera's The Herculoids. Capable of emitting laser beams from his eyes and tail, he is one of several fantastic creatures defending the planet Quasar alongside its human family.

Zok made a splashy Bronze Age entrance in TV Stars #3 (1978), brought to comics life by the creative team of Mark Evanier and Paul Norris, and this DC character has proven surprisingly durable — turning up across nearly five decades of publication.
