Future Quest #12

The finale of DC and Hanna-Barbera's Future Quest brings the whole gang together in one sweeping image — Jonny Quest, Race Bannon, Space Ghost, Birdman, the Herculoids, and the rest of the assembled heroes all gazing toward a looming, enigmatic robot figure that dominates the twilight sky. Evan Shaner's cover composition, colored beautifully by Veronica Gandini, manages to make a crowd scene feel both intimate and genuinely epic, with each familiar face given real weight and personality. It's a fitting send-off image for Jeff Parker's ambitious crossover, and a reminder of just how much affection this series poured into the Hanna-Barbera universe.
