Who is Thundra?

Thundra is a warrior woman from the far-future matriarchal world of Femizonia (Earth-715), who traveled back in time to the present day. Possessing extraordinary strength and combat mastery, she arrived wielding her signature chain weapon and initially clashed with Earth's greatest heroes before forging uneasy alliances.

Few characters make an entrance like Thundra did — crashing into Fantastic Four #129 in 1972 with enough force to announce that the Bronze Age had arrived with something genuinely new. Created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema, this Marvel powerhouse has shared the page with the likes of Ben Grimm, Reed Richards, Susan Storm Richards, and the Human Torch across some of the most beloved titles in the House of Ideas, including Fantastic Four, Marvel Two-in-One, and Hulk. With team affiliations spanning the Fantastic Four, the Frightful Four, and the Inhumans, she's moved through Marvel's landscape with rare versatility, racking up six key collector issues and a publishing presence that has stretched an extraordinary 53 years to the present day. For any fan who loves a character with real staying power and a debut that still crackles with energy, Thundra is absolutely worth your time.
