“Lover's Leap”

In "Lover's Leap," the Avengers mansion is left in chaos when the girls jet off to New Zealand, leaving the boys to their own devices. Hawkeye’s attempt to find a date online backfires spectacularly when he accidentally uploads every male Avenger’s profile to a matchmaking site—setting off a chain of events that pulls the team into a whirlwind of mistaken identities, superpowered suitors, and an unlikely alliance with Batroc the Leaper, who sees the Avengers as the ultimate marketing gimmick. With art by Casey Jones and colors by SotoColor, and a cover by David Williams, this 2009 adventure blends humor and heart in a story that’s equal parts awkward and electrifying.

When the girls take off for New Zealand, the boys cut loose in Avengers mansion. Hawkeye decides to look for a date online and accidentally downloads all of the male Avengers’ info onto a matchmaking website. When women start showing up for dates, the Avengers track down the website to have their profiles deleted. But the owner of the site, Batroc the Leaper, decides that having the Avengers as part of his program is good for publicity. He forces the boys to go on dates but fails to remove their info and things start getting really messy when girls with superpowers start showing up.
