Krang
Krang is a ruthless Atlantean warlord who once held high military rank in Namor's undersea kingdom. Stripped of his power and position, he became a recurring adversary of the Sub-Mariner, pursuing conquest and revenge through shifting alliances with other undersea and surface-world villains.
Few characters carry the salt-water gravitas of Krang, who crashed onto the scene in Fantastic Four Annual #1 back in 1963 — a Silver Age debut courtesy of the legendary trio of Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Sol Brodsky. This Marvel creation has spent nearly six decades lurking in the deeper, wilder corners of the universe, racking up appearances across Tales to Astonish, Essential Super-Villain Team-Up, and Avengers: The Serpent Crown, with two of those stops earning genuine key-issue status among collectors. The company Krang keeps is nothing short of remarkable — sharing pages with Namor, the Hulk, and Dorma speaks to a character woven into some of Marvel's most mythic, oceanic corners of storytelling. Thirty-three appearances across 59 years may be a focused footprint, but for fans who love the strange, powerful figures that give the Silver Age its electric flavor, Krang is absolutely worth seeking out.
