With the Jaderiese determined to prevent the device from falling into the wrong hands, chaos erupts as Major Talbot, convinced Bruce Banner is still a traitor, orders his men to open fire—leaving the fate of the Hulk uncertain.

In "Zurück ins Leben!", Rick brings the lifeless Bruce Banner to their old cave and activates the Gamma Machine, reviving him as the Hulk—now retaining Banner’s intellect but bound to the machine every 48 hours to prevent a return to his original form, still haunted by a lingering bullet in his skull. With Betty offered a deal by Talbot after his rival’s downfall, the Leader unleashes a massive humanoid to attack the Gamma Base, dragging the Hulk into a desperate defense.

After the battle, the Watcher grants Hulk the device, sending him back to the Leader’s lair—only for the genius tyrant to be overwhelmed by the sheer weight of cosmic knowledge the machine unleashes.
