About the series
In the early 1950s, Quality Comics unleashed Web of Evil, a 21-issue horror anthology that spun tales of the macabre and supernatural. Jack Cole, the creator of Plastic Man, was the series' most frequent writer, often collaborating with artists Charles Nicholas and Don Heck to deliver chilling, twist-ending stories. This title stands as a prime example of the pre-Code horror boom, showcasing Cole's versatile talent beyond superheroes and capturing the eerie, unfiltered creativity of the era.
