Web of Evil #2
In "Hangman's Horror," Jack Cole delivers a chilling tale of political corruption and spectral vengeance, as Jeb Daws—framed for murder and sentenced to hang—swears revenge from beyond the grave. With stark, expressive art and a haunting atmosphere, this 1953 Quality Comics classic sees the condemned man's ghost rise in the dead of night, haunting the very town that betrayed him. The cover by Chuck Cuidera captures the dread with a striking image of the ghostly figure, setting the tone for a story that lingers long after the final page.
