Tarzan & Co

From 1971 to 1975, Sweden's Williams Förlags AB published Tarzan & Co, a 15-issue comic series that collected classic jungle adventures starring Edgar Rice Burroughs' iconic lord of the apes. The series drew on the talents of legendary artists Burne Hogarth and Joe Kubert, alongside writer Dick Van Buren, to deliver a mix of newspaper strip reprints and original material. A distinctive European compilation, it showcased the raw, dynamic artwork that defined Tarzan's visual legacy during the early 1970s.
