“Resan till jordens inre”

In "Resan till jordens inre," Abner Perry and David Innes descend into Pellucidar in a mole-machine, only to be captured by the mahar people and enslaved. With help from a fellow captive, Ghak, they escape—though Innes is soon recaptured. Meanwhile, Jason Gridley, having heard their tale via radio, journeys to Pellucidar with Dr. Franklin, Doris Franklin, and Tarzan to rescue them. Tarzan, separated from the group, finds himself imprisoned by the Clovi tribe, where he forms an unlikely bond with a young warrior named Ulan, who aids his escape and guides him toward the realms of the horribers and the mahar. The story, written by Rob Thompson and Edgar Rice Burroughs and illustrated by Burne Hogarth with inks by Dan Barry, features cover art by Hogarth and Barry.
