Paul Wheelahan’s The Panther ran for 73 issues from 1957 to 1963 under Young’s Merchandising Company, a largely solo creation by writer-artist Paul Wheelahan. This Australian comic series follows the jungle adventures of its titular hero, a white-clad, black-masked vigilante operating in the wilds, distinct from the more famous Marvel character of the same name.
