The series follows a retired monster hunter and her academic grandson as they battle a nationalist resurgence of legendary figures from British folklore, reimagining classic tales through a contemporary political lens. Mora’s dynamic, clean-line art brought a blockbuster energy to Gillen’s sharp, witty scripts, making the book a standout for its clever deconstruction of national myths and its relentless, cinematic pacing.
