About the series
Hiroaki Samura's Blade of the Immortal is a landmark 131-issue samurai epic from Dark Horse, serialized from 1996 to 2007. Written and primarily illustrated by Samura, with translation and scripting by Dana Lewis and Toren Smith, and additional art by Tomoko Saito, it follows a cursed ronin who cannot die, seeking redemption through bloodshed.
