On Earth-616, Mystique fails to recruit Nightcrawler into the Hand. He decides to return home. Lady Penance begins to rebuild the country, giving Hawaii to the humans. Graydon recruits experts to heal his father. Seeking to make amends for when he was under the Death Seed's control, Weapon Omega hunts down and kills Cyclops. He also releases Jean from any obligation to him. Goodnight, now a cyborg due to injuries caused by Shaw and Azazel, poisons Shaw. Jean begins a relationship with Graydon. Nightcrawler attacks Dark Beast and orders him to take them home.
