Wonder Woman returns Steve Trevor to America. In order to earn money to remain and watch over Steve, Wonder Woman signs up with shady promoter Al Kale and performs her "bullets and bracelets" routine. When she realizes that her promoter is cheating her, she leaves him and takes over the identity of nurse Diana Prince -- who wants to leave to join her fiancé in South America -- so that she can remain near Steve. When Steve leaves his hospital bed before he has fully recovered to fight a mystery bomber who fights with poison gas, Wonder Woman must save him and help him put an end to the plot.
